Perigold hastens brick-and-mortar plans with spring debut in Texas
Perigold will open its first store in Houston this spring, moving up the planned debut for its brick-and-mortar presence.
BOSTON — Perigold, the luxury home brand within the Wayfair portfolio, is planning to open a store in spring 2025 in Houston’s Highland Village, moving up the debut of its brick-and-mortar presence.
This location will open before the previously announced fall 2025 launch of a 30,000-square-foot, two-story West Palm Beach, Fla., showroom.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Houston storefront, further expanding Perigold’s presence in a market where we know there is a strong appetite for design and a lot of culture,” said Rebecca Ginns, global head of Perigold. “Houston will be our first-ever store.”
The nearly 20,000-square-foot showroom will feature products across all home categories, including furniture, décor, lighting, kitchenware, bath and tile. A common thread across the Perigold stores will be the brand and designer shops, featuring styles and designs curated by locally and nationally recognized design partners such as Marie Flanigan, Jessica Davis, Evan Millard and Julie Neill.
“I’m excited to see Perigold opening a brick-and-mortar location,” said Flanigan, a Houston designer and long-time Perigold partner, “and Houston is the perfect place for it. As the country’s fourth-largest city, it’s home to incredible artisans, designers and design enthusiasts who will be thrilled to have access to these premium brands in person.”
Wayfair has been adding brick-and-mortar stores to its portfolio at a steady pace, including its flagship in suburban Chicago, which opened in May, and units under its Joss & Main, Birch Lane and AllModern nameplates.
