Cover Connect sets a new record with recent NYC show

NEW YORK – Cover Connect New York, the trade event for high-end, handmade rugs, welcomed more visitors than ever before.

The B2B show, which took place from Sept. 13-15 and partially overlapped New York Home Fashions Market, attracted more than 400 accredited professional visitors from the U.S. and other countries. Attendees included buyers from area rug galleries, furniture retailers, and department stores along with interior designers.

Visitor numbers were up more than 13% compared to last year’s figures, according to Cover magazine, which organized the event. The exhibitor roster features rug companies from the U.S. and Europe.

Up next on the calendar, Cover Connect Las Vegas will take please at the 2026 edition of tise (The International Surface Event) from Jan. 27-29.

The 2026 New York City event will take place September 26–28, returning to the Metropolitan Pavilion and The Altman Building in Manhattan.
