Decorating from the ground up, the new collection of hand-tufted rugs from United Kingdom-based Romo Studio is an “anthology of magnificent patterns, colors and indulgent textures,” the company said.
Crafted from natural wool, the bold geometrics, vibrant florals and organic forms are brought to life through hand-carved details that showcase both innovation and craftsmanship.
“This careful attention to detail not only enhances the visual depth and dimension of the patterns but also introduces a captivating texture that invites both admiration and tactile exploration,” said Emily Mould, Romo Studio’s director of design and excellence. “Each design exudes an artisanal touch, celebrating the time-honored process of crafting by hand.”
Romo is part of The Romo Group, a family-run business in its fifth generation. The rugs are available worldwide through an extensive network of selected interior designers and retail outlets. Seven new rugs play with color and geometry including:
Arzu – A statement diamond design in a playful mix of colors including Sorbet and Terrazzo.
Ezra – Expressing contemporary flair, organic lines interplay across this hand-tufted wool rug that’s available in Gris, Jasmine and Clay.
Linos – A deep, cut and uncut pile of organic stripes create a graphic design full of character and texture that’s available in Ebony, Cinnamon and Egret.
Odelia – Bringing the blossoming blooms of the Odelia design to life as a plush, hand-tufted wool rug, available in Wild Rose and Lovat.
Clarice – A captivating combination of design and color, contemporary broken stripes are given added dimensions with hand-carved edges. The rug is available in the Tamarind and Zinnia colorways.
Nula – Available in the Egret color, Nulia is a celebration of texture. Executed in a single color, cut and uncut pile creates a sophisticated tile design made up of interchanging squares of organic stripes.
Lavin – A Romo favorite, the retro-inspired Lavin design has been reimaged as a contemporary rug available in the Verde and Sorbet colorways.

During next month’s High Point Market, Lavin Rugs is partnering with the SPCA of the Triad, a local non-profit animal rescue organization that has served the community for 30 years.
The SPCA is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for abused, neglected, and injured animals, helping them find their forever homes. Through this partnership, Lavin Rugs said it hopes to raise awareness and drive adoption efforts for the SPCA.
Lavin representatives will walk adoptable dogs around the High Point Market campus, giving these pets a moment in the spotlight and a chance to find the loving homes they deserve.
Marketgoers can visit Lavin Rug’s showroom during the market to donate, enter giveaways, and receive a personalized pet tag for their own pets.
By supporting the SPCA of the Triad’s mission, Lavin Rugs hopes to make a lasting impact that extends beyond designing spaces, furthering its dedication to both pets and people.
Currently housing 60 animals needing loving homes, the SPCA relies entirely on local donations to fund its missions. Donations provide essential services like food, medical care, spay and neuter programs, enrichment, and a haven for animals in need.
