Sanderson Design Group earns Royal Warrant from King Charles III
The milestone marks 100 years since the company received its first Royal Warrant from King George V in 1924.
LONDON – King Charles III has granted a Royal Warrant to furniture company Sanderson Design Group, the brand that has supplied fabric and wallpaper to the royal households for generations.
The milestone marks 100 years since the company received its first Royal Warrant from King George V in 1924.
Sanderson said the renewal affirms the company’s historical legacy while looking to the future, aligned with the Royal Household’s emphasis on environmental stewardship.
“We are thrilled to be granted this Royal Warrant and especially delighted to celebrate 100 years of continuous service to The Royal Household,” said Lisa Montague, Sanderson Design Group CEO.
Montague said the company is committed to upholding its legacy of British design and craftsmanship, and a commitment to sustainability.
“These initiatives reflect the principles of excellence that have defined our company for over a century. We look forward to continuing decorating with The Royal Households and upholding the values that the Royal Warrant represents,” she added.
Under Sanderson’s Live Beautiful pledge, the team has committed to reaching carbon net zero by 2030.
Currently, in its sixth year of carbon reduction, Sanderson is on track to reach its target. The company saw its CO2 emissions decrease by 10.4% in the 12 months ending January 2024.
Sanderson Design Group also continues to enhance biodiversity through its sites in collaboration with the RWHA Nature Recovery Group. Working with The Wildlife Trusts on an outdoor project at Anstey Wallpaper Factory, Loughborough, the Group is committed to improving biodiversity and local wildlife.
