Vacation Rental Design Summit moves to summer for 2025 event
High Point gathering will offer expanded learning, hands-on experiences.

HIGH POINT — The Vacation Rental Design (VRD) Summit will return for its third edition June 23-27, in High Point, shifting from its previous spring schedule to a summer format.
Organized by High Point by Design, the event will continue to focus on education and networking for professionals in the short-term rental and vacation rental design industries.
The move to summer is intended to offer attendees a new perspective on High Point, beyond its traditional role as host of the biannual High Point Market. Organizers say the seasonal shift will allow for more hands-on programming and expanded engagement with local showrooms.
“After two years of pairing the Summit with the spring market, our team was ready to try something fresh and unexpected,” said Jane Dagmi, managing director of HPxD. “June gives us room to play. Our partners can be more hands-on, and we’ll be activating showrooms in surprising and innovative ways.”
Planning for the 2025 event is led by Dagmi, along with cofounders Jessica Duce, founder of JDuce Designs and Vacation Rental Designers, and Ericka Saurit, a branding and marketing strategist specializing in design.
Duce, who has worked extensively in short-term rental (STR) design, noted that the field has expanded significantly since the summit’s launch.
“The growth we have seen exploding in the STR design world since our first summit is so exciting,” Duce said. “Expanding the education and resources for designers and brands in this rapid growth category is helping all involved stretch their design muscles and opportunities beyond expectations.”
The summit will open with a welcome reception and conclude with a closing gathering. Sponsor showrooms will remain open throughout the week, with programming designed for interior designers, real estate and hospitality professionals, developers, and brands working in the vacation rental space.
Tickets go on sale April 7, with presale information available here. An early bird rate of $899 is available through May 5.
