This year, rug company Momeni is celebrating 50 years in business which marks a major milestone for the family-run rug company founded in 1975 by Haji Ali Momeni and his eldest son, Ed.
Today, the company officials said they are focused on the future, guided by third-generation family members and a long-term strategy centered around product innovation, supply chain strength and evolving market trends.
From its roots in handmade Persian imports, company officials say they have transcended shifts in global production due to changing geopolitical landscapes, expanding sourcing to India, Pakistan, China and Turkey, while consistently responding to market shifts.
Today, three generations work side by side. Alex Momeni, Katy Repetto, and Kian Momeni now help lead operations, design and logistics.
Recent launches like the Playground collection, along with continued partnerships with designers such as Erin Gates, reflect the brand’s commitment to reaching new audiences.
Family members said that Momeni remains focused on long-term growth while staying true to the values that have guided it for five decades.
The company invites all attendees of the upcoming High Point Market to celebrate with them during them on Saturday, April 26th at 4 p.m. in the company’s showroom, IHFC H-345.

The collection offers Sanderson’s trademark whimsy, pushing the boundaries of traditional heritage designs.
“At Ruggable, our mission is to create beautiful, livable spaces for all. The collaboration leans into two distinct design concepts:
- Southern Charm, with its Palm Beach-inspired aesthetic that offers bright, tropical botanicals balanced with sandy neutrals
