ArchLight Summit lines up event slate for September

DALLAS — Registration is now open for the ArchLight Summit here in September.

The annual event welcomes designers, architects, interior designers, specifiers, and emerging professionals to see new products, experience the latest lighting technologies, and participate in a wide range CEUs from lighting and design/build thought leaders. It takes place at Sept. 16-17 and is co-located with Design Week.

Programming will include full-format on the “Light Bites” Stage on the show floor, while live podcasts and other interactive and educational sessions will be hosted at the “Inspiration Station” adjacent to the expo floor.

Event highlights include:

  • On Monday, September 15, Women in Lighting + Design will host its popular welcome party overlooking the skyline of Dallas. Open to all attendees.
  • Lighting Design Alliance founder and CEO Chip Israel, FIALD, FIES, LC, LEED-AP, will present “What I Have Learned From the Lighting Masters.”
  • Available Light founder Steven Rosen, FIALD, IES, will share expertise on the subject of Architecture + Entertainment.
  • Members of the Texas Society of Architects (TxA) will host a panel to discuss Inspirational Females at the Forefront of Texas Architecture.
  • Jill Cody, IALD, CLD, LC, LEED-AP, of Dark Light Design and the IALD Education Trust will share insights for students exploring careers in lighting design.
  • Popular industry podcasts such as Whelmed and Lighting Matters will host their podcasts live during the show at the Inspiration Station.

Casambi Technologies will host a Happy Hour for all participants on the first night of the event.

Access to the Summit show floor is complimentary, and a $50 flat fee will grant admission to an unlimited number of sessions to secure continuing educational credits (AIA and IDCEC). Food and beverages are provided throughout each day for all ArchLIGHT Summit attendees.

Wednesday, Sept. 17, is an official Student Day with dedicated programming for the next generation of lighting professionals and a new lighting-focused job fair.
