Crystorama plans 2 special celebrations in High Point
The lighting company will honor design partners Libby Langdon and Brian Patrick Flynn.
Crystorama will celebrate two of its design partners — Libby Langdon and Brian Patrick Flynn — with parties at High Point Market next month.
Crystorama and Langdon have been collaborating for 10 years, and since their partnership debuted in October 2015, they have redefined modern lighting design with Langdon’s signature aesthetic, the lighting company said.
To mark the milestone, Crystorama will host “Libations with Libby” on April 26 from 3 – 4 p.m.
“I’m thrilled to be introducing fresh new collections with Crystorama this market,” said Langdon. “It’s been an incredible decade of partnership, and I’m so proud of the designs we’ve created together. High Point Market has played a pivotal role in bringing these collections to the design community, and I always look forward to connecting with industry friends and sharing what’s new.”
At market, Crystorama will unveil Langdon’s Ackerly and Callahan collections.
Ackerly showcases ice glass, a textured material that resembles frozen or cracked ice. Callhan, meanwhile, features a textural linen cone-shaped shade accented with vegan leather trim that connects like a belt buckle.
Langdon will present these collections as part of an HPMKT Insider Tour.
The following day, Crystorama will throw a birthday party for fellow design partner Brian Patrick Flynn. Flynn is both a designer and a television personality, perhaps best known for HGTV Dream Home and HGTV Urban Oasis. He has been designing for Crystorama for several seasons.
Flynn will be in Crystorama’s showroom (IHFC Hamilton Wing 241) on Sunday, April 27 at 3 p.m. to walk visitors through his newest collections and discuss his plans for next year.
Among the introductions are extensions to his Capsule collection and Gidget, a dome-shaped flush mount or pendant in a two-toned design with options in gold or black, paired with white glass. It can be used indoors or outdoors in protected exterior locations.
The company is then celebrating with birthday cake for Flynn, whose birthday, according to Wikipedia, is on April 27th.
