Luxury rug creator SHIIR Rugs is known for its use of quality materials and masterful construction by artisans worldwide. These sophisticated rugs feature wondrous colorations, complex patterns, and tactile extravagance, with comfort and durability matched by several eco-friendly qualities.
Over the last few years, the luxury design market has seen an increase in demand for rugs made specifically with eco-friendly fibers and high-quality, sustainable materials.
As the company continues to showcase its commitment to environmental responsibility, owners Shea Soucie and Martin Horner also note that natural materials like wool, silk and linen are some of the most inherently sustainable products available.
SHIIR’s latest rug designs are constructed with natural materials, including PET fibers (made from recycled plastic water bottles), wool, cashmere, silk, and more.
These hand-crafted luxury rugs can be found in both the Soucie Horner Design Collective and Oscar Isberian Rugs but they are available exclusively through SHIIR.

The collection, with vintage-inspired handwoven designs and nostalgic motifs, is designed to help people unwind and embrace the season’s joyful, relaxing moments, according to the company.
“Designed to capture the essence of summer nostalgia, Ruggable’s summer collection invites you to slow down and cherish the sweet moments of the season,” said Maria O’Brien, Ruggable vice president of design. “Rooted in earthy tones, soft textures, and vintage-inspired motifs, this refined yet whimsical collection is an ode to summer’s simple joys and sentimental memories”
Infused with playful designs, the collection reflects “the nostalgic charm of summer’s simple pleasures and captures the warmth of sentimental summer memories,” according to O’Brien.
The summer collection embraces a variety of interior aesthetics, ranging from retro-quaint prints and patterns, eclectic motifs, and nostalgic designs inspired by the rural countryside, and includes whimsical and colorful doormats that effortlessly blend classic, refined aesthetics with quirky, fun designs.
The assortment consists of nine new rugs, three new doormats, and 48 existing styles, all starting at $89 and available on Ruggable.com.

E-commerce brand Joon Loloi has also launched its new summer collection that features handwoven jutes and lush botanical motifs.
The summer collection, which ranges from $29 to $1,399, is designed to infuse interiors with the relaxed warmth and vibrant feeling of a summer retreat.
As a designer-approved brand, Joon Loloi bridges the gap between modern and classic aesthetics.
Two rug highlights from the new collection include the Aparna Rug and the Zoraya Rug.
The Aparna Rug, which runs $149 to $1,269 depending on size, is handwoven in India as a medium-pile rug that features a checkerboard design woven with a jute blend.
Between its natural palette and geometric design, the Zoraya Rug, which runs from $299 to $1,269, adds warmth and dimension. This jute-blend rug is handwoven by artisans in India with a medium pile, using techniques that have been honed for centuries.
Both rugs are GoodWeave certified, ensuring the company’s commitment to ethical production and the support of weavers’ communities, as well as being OEKO-TEX certified, to show that it does not contain harmful chemicals.

Maison Leleu has had a special relationship with art since the company’s founding in 1910. And, the company’s new rugs have reinvented the iconic designs of the design house with contemporary and elegant lines.
Known for a refined and minimalist style, Maison Leleu is the uncontested genius of the French modern movement. The company’s newest rug offering is called Deep Blue and is inspired by the infinity of the ocean and the nuances of its crystal-clear waters.
The new Astral, Vision and Constellation rugs oscillate between abstraction and references to Art Deco, celebrating the craftsmanship in all its splendor. The company said its rugs have no more boundaries since the rugs are made entirely to measure and are all available for indoor or outdoor use, depending on the material used.
Alexia Leleu is the great-granddaughter of company founder Jules Leleu. She has always been passionate about her family history, and at the age of 30, she decided to search for the Maison Leleu archives.
After several years of searching, Alexia Leleu found a former employee of the Maison. Luckily, the former employee had saved the entire archive several decades earlier. After finding this treasure, Alexia Leleu studied to become an interior designer to revive the spirit of her family with reborn and revitalized rugs.
