Designer Jason Koharik unveils Floret chandelier with Alora Lighting
Los Angeles-based designer Jason Koharik has unveiled Floret, his latest collection for Alora Lighting, which is set to launch at Lumens next year.
The collection debuted with an exclusive preview at Koharik ‘s private studio during LA Design Week Sept. 30 – Oct.4. Floret includes sconces and chandeliers in multiple sizes and marks the latest collaboration between Koharik and Alora Lighting, following his Furrow, Versus and Mineral collections.
The fixture is inspired by the Calla Lily — the favorite flower of Koharik’s grandmother — and features sculptural forms crafted from solid brass, with stems and flower-like details incorporated throughout the design. It is available in polished nickel or unlacquered patina brass.
“There’s an incredible energy around Jason Koharik’s work — he brings an artist’s hand to lighting in a way that feels both deeply personal and entirely new,” said Dana Gers, chief marketing officer at Lumens. “We’re proud that Alora Lighting trusts Lumens to help bring that vision forward, and to create a larger platform for independent designers like Jason. Previewing his 2027 collection during LA Design Week/end is especially exciting; it’s an opportunity to bring the design community closer to the creative voices shaping what comes next.”
Floret will be available through Lumens beginning Spring 2027, with pieces ranging from $2,000 to $12,000.
