Fortessa takes home Good Design Award
The tabletop company was recognized by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
ASHBURN, Va. — Fortessa has won a Good Design Award in the tabletop category for the coffee/tea cup and small plate in its Cloud Terre collection.
The award is presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press, and represents the best in innovative industrial, product and graphic design.
Collection No 2, as the line is called, was designed by Amber Kendrick and inspired by Mediterranean architecture. Its brushed surface creates a layered aesthetic in two shades of white, revealing terra cotta tones beneath.
“It’s a true honor to be acknowledged by such a prestigious design organization,” said Scott M. Hamberger, president and CEO, Fortessa Tableware Solutions. “This award validates all of the hard work and thought we put into each and every item we develop.”
