Proposte 2025 to spotlight fabric trends in May return
This year’s Proposte fabric expo returns for its 32nd edition next month along with adjacent events for design studios and fabrics.
CERNOBBIO, ITALY – This year’s Proposte fabric expo returns for its 32nd edition next month, along with adjacent events for design studios and fabrics.
The selective trade show at the Villa Erba will run from May 6-8. Its 78 exhibitors– 30 Italians and 48 international – will present their new collections of furnishing fabrics, curtains, trimmings and wall coverings. This year’s exhibition area includes 6 new exhibitors: 2 from Italy, 1 from Belgium, 1 from Germany, 1 from the UK, and 1 from Finland.
The trade fair will feature 3 special areas that integrate commercial offerings from:
- Cometa Formazione, an education center training students who mostly come from disadvantaged groups
- Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp, the European agro-industrial organization that brings together all players in the European flax-linen and Hemp value chain
- Fashion Room, the online bookstore for international magazines, trend books, graphics books, inspiration books and the Pantone system for fashion and design
For the third consecutive year, Comocrea Interni, will take place in tandem with Proposte. The event will be held in the Ala Regina, with the participation of 22 international design studios offering a comprehensive overview of industry trends.
A few minutes from Villa Erba, at the Sheraton Lake Como Hotel, the 10th edition of the International Observatory will be held with the participation of 8 international producers of furnishing fabrics. Visitors with the Proposte e-badge can access the premises and accreditation is available at the reception desk. A shuttle service from the main entrance of Proposte will be available.
