Inside the 2026 Kips Bay Show House
NEW YORK – The 2026 Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York has officially opened its doors, unveiling the work of 22 celebrated designers in a Greenwich Village townhouse.
This year’s show house spans six levels, from its grand entertaining spaces and private terraces to its dedicated wellness level and rooftop deck overlooking Washington Square Park. The 1839 Georgian townhouse, which has counted famed composer John Philip Sousa among its former residents, provides a backdrop for this year’s designers, pairing its preserved architectural character with a contemporary collection of interiors, art and outdoor spaces.
Kips Bay has partnered for the first time with art historian, advisor and curator Gay Gassmann on an artwork collection from American artists for the staircase.
Renowned designer Bunny Williams returns as honorary show house chair, alongside co-chairs Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton, with Andrew Torrey serving as vice chair.
“There is nothing quite like seeing a Kips Bay Decorator Show House come to life,” said James Druckman, president of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The Kips Bay Show House is the signature fundraiser for the club. “We are beyond excited to welcome the public to 80 Washington Place and invite everyone to experience what these extraordinary designers have created while helping support the young people of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.”
