Kichler to make its KBIS debut | Lighting Report
Meanwhile, independent design studios launch beautiful new handcrafted lighting.

Kichler Lighting is making its debut at KBIS next week. The 2025 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, as it is officially known, takes place in Las Vegas Feb. 25-27 alongside the International Builders Show.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to tell our story,” said Brian Nobbe, executive vice president of marketing for Coleto Brands, Kichler’s parent company. It also puts Kichler in front of its target audience of influencers, interior designers, distributors and custom builders, Nobbe added. “This is the most important week of the year for us,” he said.
“Between KBIS and IBS, there will be more than 100,000 attendees. We’re getting a lot of folks over three days, there are a lot of conversations to be had,” he added.
Its 2,000 square-foot booth will showcase both new and never-before-seen lighting across all categories, as well as many of its best-sellers. It will highlight three new materials it is working with in three introductions: Ophira (hand-woven layered tiers of jute), Bekah (hand-woven rattan) and Lulo (hand-woven natural cord with an open weave design.)
The booth will also feature two vignettes — one kitchen, one bath — that demonstrate the impact of layered lighting in a room. It is working with industry partners including Cosentino for countertops, Fabuwood for cabinetry and Delta for plumbing, and including different types of lighting such as tape lighting and down lighting, to bring those concepts to life.

Sylvia Lee, creative and executive director of The Goodman Studio, has launched the Lantern Collection, a tribute to family, light and heritage. Inspired by traditional Chinese lanterns, these handblown glass tabletop lights represent both an intimate exploration of cultural symbolism and personal memory. As a French-Canadian of Chinese descent, Lee’s connection to lanterns stems from their profound presence in her family’s rituals and milestones.

Philadelphia-based NPage Studio has launched The Rim Series of ceramic table lamps based on forms from the studio’s Funnel Light collection. Each design celebrates distinct shapes with the name “Rim” reflecting the intentional exposure of raw clay where the forms meet, creating a tactile contrast that enhances the sculptural nature of the lamps. Each one is handmade, so no two are alike.
