HINSDALE, Ill. – Tableware company nora fleming has launched its “Back to Brick” program that celebrates independent retailers who have been the heart of the brand’s success.

The company said the initiative ensures that all products included in the program will be sold exclusively through brick-and-mortar stores.

“Independent retailers are at the core of what we do,” said Nora Napientek, nora fleming founder. “The ‘back to brick’ initiative is our way of celebrating their dedication and the unique customer experiences they create. We’re thrilled to debut it with the ‘bestie bird’ mini, a symbol of the connections that bring us all together.”

Launching as the first product in the program, “bestie birds” are a pair of dove-shaped minis perched on a branch, symbolizing friendship and unity. The birds can be purchased as a set of two or individually, but customers are encouraged to buy one for themselves and share the second with a friend, highlighting the spirit of connection that inspired their design.

“Just like chocolate and peanut butter or Lucy and Ethel, some things are simply better together,” said Janice Dayon Christensen, nora fleming president. “This is all about celebrating those meaningful connections—one for you, one for a friend—while showing our love and support for the amazing independent retailers who make nora fleming what it is.”

Each “bestie bird” mini comes with a customizable takeaway card that reads:

we stick together, with hearts open wide
our friendship soars in all we do
one for me, and one for you

nora fleming pairs traditional serving platters and home décor pieces with decorative inserts, known as “minis.” Each piece is designed to celebrate and enhance various occasions and themes. With more than 100 minis covering seasons, sports, hobbies, and holidays, and new releases several times throughout the year, the company said that it ensures that “celebrations are always fresh and inspired.”

The birds will launch at the January markets in Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York.
