Lighting Report: More news for High Point-goers

HIGH POINT – If you are headed to High Point Market this weekend, here are a few more lighting introductions to keep an eye out for:
Robert Abbey is introducing the Carbonia collection, a polished and fresh take on candlestick lighting. It is a collaboration between Robert Abbey and Mavisten Edition. Robert Abbey’s showroom is Market Square – 193, Floor 1.
Visual Comfort is partnering with iconic crystal maker Waterford and will celebrate their new partnership with a launch event on Saturday in Visual Comfort’s showroom in Commerce & Design – 2A, 2G, Floor 2. No details on this collection yet, but we will share what we learn during market.
Currey & Company is joining the cordless lamp craze with several of its own designs. You can take a glimpse of them here. Its showroom is located at IHFC – M110, Main, Floor 1.
Regina Andrew Detroit’s leading market intro is the Artemis chandelier, inspired by the fluid movement of a mobile. Other chandeliers to keep a lookout for are the Vest chandelier (inspired by a buttoned tuxedo) and the Mousseaux (inspired by a blossoming bouquet). Additional RAD lighting introductions several sconces, some for the outdoors and some for interiors. Regina Andrew’s showroom is located at IHFC – IH006, Commerce, Floor 1.
Spanish lighting brand Mariner will make its High Point Market debut with partner Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting (IHFC – C229, Commerce, Floor 2). Mariner Luxury is known for using the “lost wax” manufacturing technique, which captures the most intricate and finest details in metal and glass. The two companies will celebrate their partnership with sangria, Spanish guitar and Flamenco dancers on Sunday from 4 – 6 p.m. in its showroom, IHFC #C229.
