April is world autism month. Here’s how Beatriz Ball is supporting the cause
Learn more about the two autism awareness themed giftables the company will donate all profits from for the month of April.

NEW ORLEANS – April is World Autism Month, and tabletop brand Beatriz Ball is once again raising money for the nonprofit Autism Speaks in honor of its founder Beatriz Ball’s youngest grandchild, Bo.
In honor of the month, Beatriz Ball will donate 100 percent of the profits from two special items – autism awareness keychain and holiday ornaments – to the organization. The products both feature a puzzle piece design, a symbol Autism Speaks has adopted as a logo and that has come to represent autism awareness for many other individuals and groups.
Diagnosed with autism at the age of three, Ball’s grandson is now 12 and attending the fifth grade in New Orleans, where Ball’s namesake brand is based. Since his diagnosis, Beatriz Ball has made raising awareness for autism its corporate cause. Per a release from Beatriz Ball, he continues to enjoy being with family and friends and has attended several camps geared toward children with developmental differences.
Autism Speaks, as described by Beatriz Ball in a release, is an autism advocacy charity and research organization based in the United States, with outreach work aimed at families, governments and the public.
