ITA launches Textile Hall of Fame, opens nominations
HIGH POINT — The International Textile Alliance (ITA) has established the Textile Hall of Fame, a new recognition program created to honor the individuals and organizations whose vision, leadership and innovation have shaped the textile industry.
The Textile Hall of Fame will celebrate the pioneers, leaders and creative forces whose enduring contributions have advanced textiles as both an art and an industry. Through this initiative, ITA seeks to preserve the legacy of the industry’s most impactful figures while inspiring future generations of textile professionals and innovators.
“Nominating and recognizing the trailblazers of our field is not only about honoring their past achievements, but also about ensuring their stories inspire the future,” said David Lappert, president of the ITA board of directors.
The first inductees will be honored at the spring edition of Interwoven Textile Fair by ITA in High Point.
