Chabad services available during High Point Market
The Chabad Jewish Center-Greensboro will operate a satellite synagogue at the High Point Market, Sunday through Tuesday.
HIGH POINT – The Chabad Jewish Center-Greensboro will operate a satellite synagogue at the High Point Market, from Sunday, Oct. 27 through Tuesday, Oct. 29. Daily traditional prayer services and kosher food will be offered in the space, IHFC M708.
The center will open daily at 7:30 a.m. with a morning prayer service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available throughout the day. A late afternoon/evening prayer service will begin at 5:50 p.m.
Jewish participants in market activities are welcome to visit the center. The program is made available through the generous support of Value City and Modway Furniture.
“We are pleased to once again offer our satellite facility to welcome Jewish participants of market. Our daily minyanim and kosher food serves as a respite for the many manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and buyers who have come to rely on Chabad to enhance their visit to Greensboro,” said Rabbi Yosef Plotkin, the director of the Chabad Jewish Center-Greensboro.
“We hope that market attendees will find time to stop by, meet us and join this special community when they are in our city. We are grateful to our stalwart supporters –Value City and Modway Furniture, for enabling us to provide this service,” he added.
