Moves at Vesta Home, Somo Home, Lifestyle Enterprises and Rooms To Go | Who’s News

Michael Brown, a former senior vice president for retailer RH, has joined Vesta Home as chief creative officer.
Brown joined the luxury home staging, interior design and furnishing company after more than 15 years with RH, where he helped found RH Interior Design in New York in 2011.
As chief creative officer, Brown will develop Vesta Home furniture collections and lead the continued expansion of Vesta Home’s luxury interior design division. Working alongside CEO Julian Buckner and Vesta Home’s leadership and design teams, Brown will bring his experience creating highly considered interiors and building interior design capabilities at scale.
“Vesta Home is at a dynamic and pivotal point in its evolution,” said Brown. “High-end interior design is where I have spent so much of my career and where I see an enormous opportunity. What excites me about Vesta Home is that it already has this extraordinary window and early access into how people want to live, often before the home is even purchased.”
“We’re inside thousands of homes, seeing firsthand what people respond to and what makes a space feel personal. We can take that insight and build an even more elevated furniture collection and interior design service around it. I’m thrilled to work with Julian and the team to create furniture collections and considered interiors that will further establish Vesta Home as a luxury design authority.”

Lifestyle Enterprise has named Adam Leifer national sales manager for case goods, a newly created position within the company, effective immediately. Leifer takes on this expanded role and reports directly to Derrick Ng, president of Lifestyle Enterprise’s case goods division.
Officials said the creation of this new position reflects the continued growth Lifestyle Enterprise has experienced in recent years, particularly with the addition of new retail customers and the ongoing expansion of its case goods product categories.
Leifer joined Lifestyle Enterprise in 2008 as a sales representative and, during his tenure, has become one of the company’s most recognized and successful sales professionals and has been named Lifestyle Salesperson of the Year multiple times, the company said.
“Adam has been an important part of Lifestyle’s success for many years,” said Ng. “His experience, relationships and understanding of the furniture business make him a natural fit for this new position. As we continue to grow our customer base and expand our case goods offerings, Adam will play an important role in supporting our sales team and our retail partners.”
Leifer brings decades of furniture industry experience to his new position. He grew up in a furniture family in Reading, Pa., where his grandfather and father owned and operated a retail furniture store. He began his career working in the family retail business, gaining firsthand experience in furniture retail, customer service and the needs of the furniture consumer.
In his new role as national sales manager for case goods, Leifer will work closely with Ng and the case goods sales organization to support existing accounts, develop new retail opportunities and help Lifestyle continue to expand its case goods business across the marketplace
