The new custom program offers options for color and binding.

Rug company Stark has unveiled its new custom-sized rugs program.

The program gives clients the power to design and order rugs that fit their exact specifications by inputting their desired rug size, down to the exact measurement, and browsing Stark’s catalog of customizable rugs.

Once selected, these rugs can be crafted and shipped in less than three weeks.  Customers now have access to a curated selection of colors, textures, and patterns, available for custom sizing. Every detail can be adjusted to match a client’s vision, offering them a completely personalized shopping experience.

Founded in 1938 by Arthur and Nadia Stark, the company was built on the desire to provide carpets and rugs of unparalleled craftsmanship, quality, and design.

“At Stark, we’ve always been committed to craftsmanship and quality, and with this new program, we’re giving our customers the freedom to design rugs that reflect their personal style, down to the smallest detail,” said Chad Stark, Stark CEO. “This is more than just a product – it’s a chance to bring luxury and individuality into every room, all with the ease of customization at their fingertips.”

Stark also offers samples for only $10 each, with the cost applied toward a future purchase. Each sample includes a 5” x 7” informational insert and a tape measure. The new custom-sized rugs program is available now and features exclusive styles, with plans to continually expand the selection.

Designer Lauren Liess

Rugs USA has introduced a new collection in partnership with designer Lauren Liess, who is a decorator, textile designer, and founder of the popular design blog Pure Style Home and star of the HGTV show Best House on the Block.

Liess is also the author of Habitat (Abrams, 2015), Down to Earth (Abrams, 2019), and Feels Like Home (Abrams, 2019). She lives in Northern Virginia.

According to Rugs USA, “The collection embodies her love of casual, nature-inspired, barefoot friendly living and evokes a sense of whimsy with a touch of modern fairytale mixed in.”

The company added that the rugs feature subtle design elements that spark imagination and create a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere in any room. The rugs come in flatweave, hand-tufted and hand-braided and are available in either wool/cotton blends or in 100% wool, cotton, or jute.

Portuguese rug company Rug’Society is offering several new modern rugs that play a crucial role in interior design as both the foundation and the focal point of a room’s aesthetic. The timeless elegance of White Garden, a square-shaped rug with neutral tones and the avant-garde charm of the Foil rug, infuse each piece with its own unique character, according to the company.

The Heron II rug, named for the gracefulness and grace of the corresponding animal, adds a unique touch to the hallway image to the right, while runners like Golden Bugs II and Simba II can be the perfect addition to a long hallway.

Rug’Society believes that a rug can bridge the gap between disparate furniture pieces and décor elements. The Imperial Snake Rug is a luxurious tribute to the fabled symbol of transformation. This rug “oozes grandeur and trendiness as cream-colored botanical silk frames and ornate design.”

The company invites customers to “dive into the world of color with rugs like Nuance and Blush, where every thread captures the nuanced influence of underlying tones, temperature shifts, and ambient lighting.”

Rug’Society said its goal with every rug is to transform it into a piece of art.
