UMA rebrands, expands furniture assortment
CEO Andy Stein helped develop the collection as the company positions itself as a one-stop destination for retailers.

COMPTON, Calif. – UMA Home Décor has rebranded itself as UMA Home, an initiative bolstered by a newly expanded furniture assortment, which designates it as a “one-stop destination” for retailers and interior designers, according to the company.
“We recognize that today’s consumers are looking for comprehensive design solutions rather than piecemeal purchases,” said CEO Andy Stein. “By adding furniture to our lineup, we’re making it easier for our retail partners to offer a complete home styling experience — all from one trusted source.”
Los Angeles-based UMA Home said it is appealing to retailers looking to maximize their floor space, increase sales per square foot and enhance their customer experience.
Its newest furniture assortment, the Stein and Watson Collection, complements its existing assortment of home décor and accents. It includes wooden side tables, consoles and bookcases, among other pieces.
The collection is designed by CEO Stein and Pat Watson, UMA’s vice president of product design. Before joining UMA Home Decor, Stein led Coast to Coast Imports as its CEO, where he expanded its offerings in furniture, lighting and décor. “His deep expertise in sourcing and manufacturing, particularly through partnerships with Asian factories, has been instrumental in guiding UMA Home Decor’s strategic direction and growth in the furniture sector,” the company said in a release.
Watson, meanwhile, has an extensive background in case goods manufacturing and product development. He served as vice president of merchandising at Hooker Furniture (now Hooker Furnishings) and Legacy Classic Furniture, and was also director of product development at A.R.T. Furniture and Magnussen Home Furnishings.
The Stein and Watson Collection includes a wide range of looks and styles, from modern and contemporary pieces with sleek lines and minimalist aesthetics, to classic and traditional styles with ornate details and rich wood finishes and elegant upholstery, to rustic and industrial designs that offer a mix of natural wood metal accents and stressed finishes.
