Visual Comfort CEO Andy Singer to be honored at ARTS Awards

DALLAS — Visual Comfort CEO Andy Singer will receive the Academy of Achievement honor at the ARTS Awards in January.

“For decades, Andy’s dedication and passion for the lighting industry has been inspiring to witness,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, which co-produces the ARTS Awards with ART. “His commitment to quality and innovation truly sets him apart as an industry leader.”

Sharon Davis, executive director of ART, added: “It’s an honor to present the Academy of Achievement to someone who has transformed the lighting industry through his visionary leadership and dedication to design excellence.”

Singer founded Visual Comfort & Co. in 1987 in his garage after spending 10 years in the lighting industry as a manufacturer’s representative. Throughout the years, the Visual Comfort & Co. portfolio of collections has continued to grow to offer more lighting resources across all categories and price points. Notable design partners include E.F. (Sandy) Chapman, Ralph Lauren, kate spade new york, AERIN, Thomas O’Brien, Barbara Barry, Kelly Wearstler, and others.

The ARTS Awards will take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. In addition to the Academy of Achievement, dozens of category awards will be presented.

Reservations for the ARTS Awards open Oct. 2. Tickets will be $170 for ART members and $200 for non-members.
