AkzoNobel Wood Coatings to showcase new color, finish trends at High Point Market
HIGH POINT — AkzoNobel Wood Coatings will showcase Soulful Sage, its 2027 Color of the Year, alongside complementary wood finishes at its Global Color and Design Center showroom during this week’s High Point Market.
The showroom display will feature Soulful Sage as an accent color paired with a range of warm, light, mid and dark wood finishes inspired by natural hues. The soft, silvery green is intended to complement natural wood tones across furniture, cabinetry, building products and flooring, reflecting the growing influence of softer, more organic colors in interior design.
The Global Color and Design Center also showcases more than 300 finishes across two double-sided display walls, designed with wood and feature gridded panels showing a broad range of finishes and combinations.
“High Point Market is always an exciting opportunity to meet with manufacturers from across the globe who come to showcase their new products,” said Bryan Hodges, color and design manager, wood finishes Americas, AkzoNobel. “It is always rewarding to be able to see the wood products that we’ve helped our partners develop over the past six months and to share them with other manufacturers.”
During Market week, the Wood Finishes team will meet with existing and prospective customers to review current collections, discuss design trends and develop ideas for future launches.
