MONTVALE, N.J. – Paint company Benjamin Moore has named Webster Green (HC-130) as its 2027 Color of the Year.

The company said Webster Green is a quintessential green that bridges timeless design with contemporary aesthetics with its sophisticated composure that enlivens and adapts across design styles.

“For 2027, our focus centered on the green color family. When we looked across the past, present and future of color trends, variations on green consistently demonstrated remarkable staying power,” said Andrea Magno, Benjamin Moore vice president of brand, color and integrated marketing. “Webster Green HC-130 reflects this timeless appeal by pairing reassuring stability with optimistic energy. Its composed nature feels both rooted and forward-looking, while enhancing spaces that feel distinctive, collected and continually new.”

Magno said that from its presence in archival hand-drawn renderings to forward-thinking points of inspiration, Webster Green HC-130 exemplifies enduring relevance and classic appeal through the ebb and flow of trend cycles while anchoring and elevating a thoughtfully curated palette of colors.

Webster Green HC-130 is remarkably versatile. It works beautifully as a sophisticated accent, a distinguished choice for a living room or study, an expressive selection for kitchen cabinetry or a welcoming front door. Its depth and chroma allow it to work across traditional, contemporary and transitional design styles.
