Demdaco partners with Ivystone

An email sent to retail partners from the Demdaco CEO announces a new partnership with Ivystone starting June 7.

LEAWOOD, Kan. – Gift wholesaler Demdaco is shifting from an internal sales force to a new partnership with Ivystone, according to an email sent out to its retail partners on Wednesday.

In the email, Demdaco CEO and co-founder Demi Lloyd states the partnership will go into effect starting June 7 and that some of the company’s existing territory managers will continue to serve their retailers, while others may shift to an existing Ivystone representative for future Demdaco product orders.

Here is the full message sent out to retailers:

“Dear Retail Partners:

“I’d like to inform you of a new partnership between DEMDACO and Ivystone Group. We are one of the few companies in the industry to have employed our own sales force and we have appreciated the attentive and caring service this team has provided. However, it is time for us to transition to a Sales Representative Group model, and after careful consideration, we are proud to announce that we will be teaming up with The Ivystone Group.

“With the exception of some key accounts, we will be partnering with Ivystone on a national basis to serve you in your wholesale gift needs starting June 7th. We have a long and storied history with their company as a number of their senior leaders sold DEMDACO products in the early 2000s. We are proud to team up with a company of such high integrity, energy, and excellence.

“Some of our existing Territory Managers will be joining Ivystone and will continue to serve you. In other cases, you may have an existing Ivystone representative who will now work with you regarding DEMDACO products. Or you may meet an Ivystone representative for the first time who will be able to offer DEMDACO products to you.

“Whereas this is an exciting step forward, I understand that this is a change perhaps in the individual who meets with you regarding DEMDACO. Change is not always easy, but I believe you will be in very good hands with your Ivystone representative.

“Thank you very much for your continued support.”

Demdaco previously had a similar partnership with OneCoast from Jan. 2016 through the end of 2021.
