Indian architect Malini Doshi is co- founder of architecture practice Studio Saransh

Indian architect Doshi, founding partner of Studio Saransh, will join the architecture judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2026.

Doshi co-founded the studio with her husband Manish Doshi and their work is dedicated to creating spaces that aim to synthesise pragmatism and quiet idealism.

Last year, the studio completed Oasis, their self-designed Ahmedabad studio. Other work includes VS House and MD Apartment, both also located in Ahmedabad.

Elisa Ossino will join the Dezeen Awards 2026 interiors jury

Milan-based architect and designer Ossino, founder of the eponymous practice, will join designer Jaime Hayon on this year's interiors judging panel.

Ossino's work ranges from residential and retail interiors to product design, exhibitions and set design, with notable collaborators including Boffi, Foscarini, Hermes and Cartier.

Recent work includes a tactile showroom in Milan for Swiss home appliance brand V-Zug as well as a modular sofa informed by the aesthetics of the 1970s.

Artist and designer Lucas Muñoz is known for his experimentation-based making

Artist and designer Muñoz will join Martin Lotti, chief design officer of Nike, on this year's design judging panel.

Based in Madrid, Muñoz' practice examines how objects, spaces, and systems of production shape inhabited environments.

Last year, Muñoz created a cafe entirely from materials salvaged from an abandoned hotel for Design Mumbai. Other works include a converted 1960s office into an offbeat furniture showroom and a bulbous chair crafted from industrial steel ventilation pipes.

Mario Tsai will join the design panel for Dezeen Awards 2026

Joining Muñoz is Tsai, Chinese product designer and founder of Mario Tsai Studio.

With work spanning design, art, R&D, production and commerce, Tsai transformed his studio from being design service-oriented to research-focused, while concurrently launching the design brand Mario Tsai.

The multi-disciplinary studio spans art and design while also focussing on research-driven initiatives in production and design consultancy.

Recent projects include the Mazha Lighting System 5.0, a modular lighting system informed by scaffolding and a furniture collection made from bent sheets of flexible steel.
