Gucci unveils Memoria exhibition at fuorisalone 2026

Promotion: fashion brand Gucci presents an immersive exhibition spotlighting its history through installations, tapestries and botanical spaces at this year's Milan design week.
Named Gucci Memoria, the installation at the Chiostri di San Simpliciano, a historic monastery in the city's Brera Design District, explores the fashion house's evolving identity whilst also recognising defining moments in its 105-year history.

Curated by Gucci's creative director, Demna Gvasalia, Gucci Memoria draws on cultural references that have defined its designs from the Italian Renaissance to Demna's debut fashion show, Primavera.
Across Chiostri di San Simpliciano's cloisters is a series of pieces highlighting the brand's development, from founder Guccio Gucci's early beginnings to the evolution of its visual language over the following decades.

Each key moment in Gucci's history is spotlighted across a range of tapestries through changes in colour, composition and setting, leading visitors to the present day.
Also on display is a botanical space informed by the house's silk heritage, and custom vending machines dispensing non-alcoholic drinks created by cafe and cocktail bar Gucci Giardino.
