HSN’s new chief merchant to revitalize product assortment
Qurate Retail Group has appointed a retail exec with more than 20 years of experience to lead merchandising at HSN.
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Qurate Retail Group has appointed a retail exec with more than 20 years of experience to lead merchandising at HSN.
As HSN’s new chief merchandising officer, Rosalia Bucaro will oversee the strategic direction of merchandising, planning, programming and business development across all product categories.
She and her team will focus on revitalizing product assortment at the multiplatform video commerce retailer. That includes forging celebrity partnerships and creating a merchandise assortment that resonates with existing and new customers across all channels.
Most recently, Bucaro served as EVP of Rue Gilt Groupe, the off-price e-commerce portfolio company . There she oversaw all aspects of fashion including the women’s, men’s, and kids’ divisions, as well as the European luxury division.
She also served as the key liaison between merchandising and technology, including platform transitions, site personalization and pricing strategy tools. Prior to joining Rue Gilt Groupe, Bucaro held various senior positions in merchandising at Bloomingdale’s.
