Market Authority opens applications for fall Design Influencers

HIGH POINT – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) is now accepting applications for its signature , inviting interior designers and other design influencers to apply by July 24.

Six influencers will be chosen based on their digital content quality, posting frequency and blog or social media following. Compensation includes a service fee and stipend for travel accommodations.

In October, the selected influencers will get a guided, two-day discovery tour at High Point Market. Each influencer will then use their individual digital platforms to chronicle emerging furnishings trends along with new products identified in sponsor-showrooms.

“The Design Influencers Tour has been a winning formula for digital creators and sponsoring showrooms since 2015,” said Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO. “With evergreen social media content at its center, the program’s tastemakers drive visibility for themselves and the participating furnishings brands well beyond Market week.”

“This season’s design influencers will be tasked to identify the most exciting products and experiences from top exhibitors at High Point Market,” said Adam Japko, CEO of Esteem Media and founder of the Design Influencers Leadership Conference. “By sharing these insights, they will also have a unique opportunity to grow their influence within the home furnishings industry.”

This season’s Design Influencers Tour, produced in partnership with Esteem Media, will take place Oct. 18-19. To be considered, theonline application must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, July 24.
