Travetine is honoured in this series of tiles by American stone company Walker Zanger.
The natural stone's pallid, gently veined appearance – used in the construction of the Colosseum in Rome and Washington DC's White House – is recreated in the brand's Navona tile collection.
Couture collection by Alessandro La Spada for Antolini
Decorative patterns are established through the use of natural stone and metallic accents in this collection of surfaces by designer Alessandro La Spada for Italian stone brand Antolini.
The Couture collection comprises 12 different graphic motifs, which pay homage to the natural processes that go into the formation of stone.
New Marble Lab surfaces colourways by Fiandre
Italian brand Fiandre has introduced five new colourways to its Marble Lab surface range, named Dama Bianca, Silver Root, Breccia Imperiale, Quarzite Vals and Luna Limestone.
Like the rest of the range, the new Marble Lab surfaces colourways were designed to mimic natural stone, encompassing various neutral shades to suit a range of interiors.

Tabacco Terrae tiles by Casalgrande Padana
A moody grey-brown hue characterises these tiles by Italian tile maker Casalgrande Padana.
Named after tobacco for its similar colouration, Tabacco Terrae tiles make up part of the wider Terrae collection.
Neolith sintered stone by Neolith
Quartz and granite are mimicked in Spanish brand Neolith's sintered stone surfaces.
Dramatic veining and patches of different tones make the tiles look realistic. They can be used both indoors and out.
Surplus corks from Portugal's wine industry go into making this flooring by British brand Quadrant.
Corkform flooring is soft underfoot, noise-absorbing, durable and heat insulating. Users can also choose from 16 natural finishes.

Spanish tile manufacturer Marazzi has produced a series of large-scale slabs that can be used for a number of purposes.
The Top tiles are made from durable porcelain stoneware, and come in various stone- and marble-look finishes.
Waste PVC from construction parts, including window frames, downspouts and rain gutters go into these recycled plastic tiles by Dutch company Pretty Plastic.
The brand's tiles come in four hues – Grey, Green, Ochre and Terracotta – and three styles, including diamond-shaped First One, geometric Second High and rectangular Basic Third.

Growth collection by Gensler for The Good Plastic Company
Global materials brand The Good Plastic Company collaborated with international architecture firm Gensler on a collection of materials made from post-consumer and post-industrial waste.
The Growth collection contains eight nature-informed patterns: Cliff, Oyster, Pebble, Midnight, Pumice, Frost, Gossamer and Haze.
