Pooky pairs with The Novogratz on outdoor lighting

Pooky Lighting and the husband-and-wife design team of Bob and Cortney Novogratz have collaborated on a 14-piece outdoor lighting collection in playful, bold colors and with rechargeable technology.

The collection fills a void in the outdoor lighting market for colorful, design-forward options, according to Pooky, which noted its success with rechargeable lighting products since its entry into the U.S. market in early 2024.

“We love how this collection encourages people to accessorize their outdoor space in the same creative way as their indoor rooms,” said Pooky Chief Creative Officer Jo Plant. “With Pooky’s innovation in rechargeables, the old rules of lighting no longer apply — there’s no reason why you can’t have a statement standing lamp next to your favorite lounger, or colorful table lamps and lamp shades over your outdoor dining table.

“We’re celebrating the joys of outdoor living and who better to do that with than The Novogratz, who love color and pattern as much as we do.”

The collection, which officially debuted this week but was featured at High Point Market last month, draws color inspiration from The Novogratz’ Antonine fabric design with pieces that blend traditional lantern silhouettes with contemporary color applications.

Included are Stefan lanterns in three sizes and four colorways (lantern hooks are sold separately); Tallulah jute basket pendant lights (which look like floppy summer hats); Holleder cordless standing and table lamps and the Oscar cordless table lamp, all in four colorways; and the Agnes and Brandy wall sconces, and Bellamy candle sconce.

Lampshades in various sizes and decorative accents like a mirror, dinner candles and solar string lights are also part of the collection.

The Novogratz, as they are popularly referred to, have been designing for more than 25 years and are known for their colorful, contemporary designs that blend modern and vintage looks. The Novogratz brand encompasses furniture and décor with partnerships across many home categories, and they have starred in several television shows and authored several design books.
