A relative newcomer to the machine washable rug segment is Tumble, which is known for its collection of 60+ washable rug designs.
Tumble was born in response to the thin rugs, uninspiring designs, and use of unsafe chemicals that have long dominated the washable rug market. The brand launched in 2021 with a collection of affordable, top-tier, machine-washable rugs that address common drawbacks consumers face.
“Tumble was born from our desire to bring a fresh, customer-focused perspective to an industry that’s traditionally been slow to evolve,” said Justin Soleimani and Zach Dannett. “As seasoned furniture industry professionals and frustrated homeowners, we recognized the need for thoughtfully designed, beautiful products at attainable prices—products that adapt to your lifestyle, not the other way around.”
Designed with pets and children in mind, Soleimani and Dannett said Tumble prioritizes using high-quality materials free from harmful “forever chemicals.” Their manufacturing facility holds an OEKO-TEX certification, ensuring their products meet strict environmental and human health standards. Additionally, Tumble collaborates with independent third-party testing labs to verify that their rugs are free from chemicals that could pose risks to children, pets, or anyone who interacts with the product.
Each Tumble rug features cushioned pads, corner pockets to prevent curling, spill-proof coatings for easy maintenance and durability and safe, premium materials. Additionally, Tumble goes above and beyond when it comes to service, offering a rug swatch program that allows customers to “try before you buy”.

The Carpet Institute of Australia has introduced an industry-leading certification for rugs, of which Armadillo’s Agra rug is the first to be accredited. Armadillo’s unparalleled commitment to manufacturing rugs of the highest level quality, performance, and safety sets the brand apart from industry standards – steadfast in its dedication to providing trade professionals and consumers with the confidence to make informed purchasing decisions.
Agra, one of the brand’s bestselling rugs, is officially endorsed for heavy duty residential and light commercial applications, including in hotels, hospitality venues, offices, and retail stores. Additionally, its indoor air quality is further recognized as being free from harmful VOCs. Sustainability and durability remain priorities for the Australian brand allowing them to be a pioneering force in the industry to qualify for a commercial grading label.
Armadillo’s Agra is a celebration of the alchemy of color. Spanning the full color spectrum (available in a palette of 54 hues), this rug is known for its rich selection. To achieve its depth and dimension, pure wool is hand-spun, abrash overdyed in a solid color, then intricately knotted into a sumptuously soft pile. Each hue is enlivened by delicate shifts in shading that subtly reflect the light.
