Visual Comfort acquires Pooky Lighting, expanding its portfolio with the British brand

HOUSTON – Leading lighting company Visual Comfort & Co. has acquired Pooky Lighting, the whimsical British brand that debuted in the U.S. two years ago.

The deal will expand Visual Comfort’s portfolio of styles and price points, the company said in a release. will also remain independent, and no changes are currently planned for its customers, partners or operations, it added.

Together, we look forward to introducing Pooky to a broader audience through the reach of the Visual Comfort platform.”

Pooky lighting products will now be available through Visual Comfort & Co.’s U.S. trade and showroom network; later this summer, select Pooky products will be showcased in Visual Comfort & Co.’s direct showrooms.

Visual Comfort has a robust portfolio of partnerships with designers and design firms, including , , Thomas O’Brien, and . Pooky collaborated with British creatives such as and , as well as the U.S.-based The Novogratz last year.
