World Market throws a line to budget shoppers with new payment options
Specialty home retailer World Market is offering a new service that allows shoppers to pay for their goods over time.

ALAMEDA, Calif. – Specialty home retailer World Market is offering a new service that allows shoppers to pay for their goods over time.
Through a recent partnership with Affirm, World Market consumers can now access flexible biweekly or monthly payment plans at the chain’s 246 locations nationwide and online at checkout.
In-store shoppers can access the flexible payment plan service by scanning a QR code with their smartphone, while online shoppers can select Affirm at checkout. After a quick eligibility check, approved customers will see personalized payment plans, with rates as low as 0% APR, term lengths up to 36 months, and no late or hidden fees, according to Affirm.

“Helping our customers bring home unique finds they love while delivering the best shopping experience is World Market’s mission,” said Eric Hunter, CEO of World Market.
Affirm’s network encompasses over 358,000 retail companies, including Amazon, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm and more.
“Today’s consumers want more control and flexibility in how they pay,” said Pat Suh, SVP of Revenue at Affirm.
