25 High Point showrooms and warehouses to open for August HPxD event
HIGH POINT — Building on its mission to provide year-round sourcing opportunities, High Point by Design has more than 25 showrooms and warehouses open from Aug. 13-16 for the Summer Sizzle Sale event.
The HPxD Summer Sizzle Sale includes a week of events for design and retail professionals, according to Jane Dagmi, managing director of HPxD. Along with discounted floor samples, prototypes, overstocks, returns and one-of-a-kind product, attendees can take advantage of professional development and networking opportunities for members of the home furnishings and interior design trades.
“Our Sizzle Sale is a win-win for brands and trade buyers alike,” said Dagmi. “Our brand partners tell us that this is a great time for them to clean house in anticipation of Fall introductions while designers are finding incredible deals with the added bonus of no wait time. This is a fun and sweaty sourcing experience unlike any other.”

Some of the participating brands include Verellen, American Leather, Sherrill Furniture, Mr. Brown London, Theodore Alexander, Eichholtz, Taylor King, Sunpan, Baker|McGuire, Feizy Rugs, Codarus, Capel Rugs, and others. The Cohab Space showroom will also be open during the sale and feature products by Cohab-affiliated brands and makers.
According to Dagmi, the participating brands are offering in-stock products at reduced pricing to design professionals, home stagers, and retail buyers.

This half-day educational session is tailored to short-term rental hosts, investors and designers, with a focus on local hospitality and tourism in High Point. Speakers from across the vacation rental and design industries will share tools and strategies for creating properties that perform, offering insights on guest experience, visual branding, accessibility and ROI-driven design.
