Rugs.com has just released a new mobile app that brings more than 100,000 design options, AR-powered visualization tools and deals directly to shoppers’ smartphones, marking a major milestone in the brand’s 25-year history as an e-commerce pioneer.

Now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the Rugs.com app extends the brand’s “shopping made easier” ethos, blending Rugs.com‘s inventory with innovative technology and convenience to make home shopping intuitive and accessible as shoppers scroll and explore.

“The new app showcases Rugs.com’s broad commitment to making browsing and buying seamless,” said Andrew Haltom, Rugs.com director of customer success. “Not only can shoppers browse by color, size, and design, they can see how rugs will look in their homes with the new update, all on their phones.”

Key features of the Rugs.com app include:

  • Interactive Augmented Reality (AR) visualization helps preview rugs so there is zero guesswork; shoppers can see rugs in their home with Rugs.com‘s AR. Virtually place any rug in a room through the phone camera, viewing it at true scale on the floor to confirm size, color, and style fit before ordering.

  • Visual search helps match and shop rugs from any photo: Shoppers can upload or snap a photo of any rug – from a magazine, a friend’s home, or a Pinterest pin – and instantly see visually similar styles from Rugs.com’s catalog.

  • The Color Palette Search makes it easy to find rugs that tie your room together: Customers can search by a full color palette to shop rugs that harmonize with an entire space rather than a single accent.

  • Professional design guidance gives bespoke styling notes for every rug: Product pages include tailored guidance for that exact rug, with recommended pairings for furniture finishes, wall colors, and flooring types, helping shoppers confirm the rug will work with what they already have at home.

  • Summarized product reviews make it easy to see what thousands of shoppers are saying in one easy-to-read recap: Summaries distill each rug’s full review history into a balanced overview of what customers love, recurring concerns, and the details shoppers care about most.

  • Streamlined shopping hub to shop, track, and save all in one place: Get the latest promotions, easily track orders, manage returns, discover best-sellers and unique vintage rugs, and keep track of your cart and wish list.

The new Mersin collection from Cappadocia Rugs offers a fresh take on traditional Oushak design, featuring soft, hand-knotted textures and rich green tones.

Crafted in-house using a hand-spun wool blend, each rug brings warmth, character and exceptional craftsmanship to any space. Customizable in any size, design or color.

Cappadocia Rugs is a fourth-generation family rugmaker from Turkey. The vertically integrated company remains closely connected to its production source, providing a direct link between hundreds of artisans and the finished product. Each rug is hand-knotted using wool and natural dyes.

“Our goal is to create heirlooms that can be passed down through generations, just as the artistry has been carried on through our family,” said Ahmet Koker, CEO of Cappadocia Rugs.

The company oversees each stage of creation, from the loom to its warehouse in Atlanta, maintaining a direct link between artisans and the finished product. Cappadocia Rugs showed several new rugs at the recent High Point Market, including the Antalya rug, a refined interpretation of Oushak design with a softer palette and low pile, and the Pure Luxe design that offers a more sculptural surface.

Anderson Tuftex has introduced three new product collections, built around what today’s design-forward client wants: natural materials, organic colors, and long-lasting durability.

The launch includes:

  • Alta Moda Collection: The brand’s first new wool introductions since 2025. Mixtura channels heirloom textiles through an irregular cut-and-loop construction in a soft three-color palette. Velluto delivers a sculptural, velvety texture with a subtle drop-stitch stripe, available in five colors, from saturated to soft neutral.

  • : Two new styles added, including Lumen and Obscura, in 100% solution-dyed with SoftBac backing. Lumen offers 18 earthy neutrals; Obscura brings 18 warm earth tones for modern interiors. Both deliver long-term durability without sacrificing refinement.

“We’re focused on the eco-conscious and luxury consumer,” said Bailey Walton, Anderson Tuftex vice president. “There is a mindset of buying fewer but better — people want to invest in heirloom-quality, durable materials that are going to withstand the test of time.”
