House of Leon pays tribute to Milan with new collection
Featuring 23 new pieces, the collection is designed to reintroduce traditional craftsmanship to modern furniture.

LOS ANGELES – The House of Leon, which launched in 2021, has unveiled its new Milan collection.
Inspired by the architecture of the famous Italian city, the collection features 23 new pieces designed to reintroduce traditional craftsmanship to modern furniture by using industrial materials such as stainless steel and copper, alongside natural textiles and finishes.
The new line pays homage to the city’s resilience and timeless elegance, according to House of Leon founders, twin brothers Jordan and Steven Neman.
“Working on the Milan collection for the past year and a half has been a labor of love that we are so proud to see come into fruition,” said Jordan Neman, creative director. “I have always been inspired by my travels and began sketching these designs on a flight after an emotional experience in the striking city of Milan.”
One of the collection’s key pieces, the Ingresso accent chair, channels the dichotomy of Milanese architecture, where understated exteriors conceal vibrant, character-rich interiors, according to the Nemans. This duality is at the heart of the design: An aluminum frame with a cast iron finish provides a bold, industrial foundation, while a wide array of upholstery options allows for personal expression.
Also of note is the Palazzo Series, which consists of a sofa, armchair, daybed, ottoman and stool. The Nemans said the series reimagines the ornamental moldings of historic Milanese villas in its white oak base, echoing the moldings in buildings such as Palazzo Gallarati Scotti.
“Upholstered in a range of rich wool mohair fabrics, each piece invites a sense of warmth and refined comfort, while the base anchors each piece as both a structural and aesthetic foundation, bridging the past and present in perfect harmony,” they said.
With a focus on regions, cultures and concepts, the Nemans said the brand believes every piece of a collection needs to work with one another to allow for mixing and matching, alleviating the pressures that come with furnishing a home.
“For Milan, I strove to underscore the beauty of each element through the juxtaposition of old and new- of strength and of warmth,” Jordan Neman added. “In utilizing clean, cool metals such as stainless steel and copper and highlighting them against bold upholsteries and leather, we were able to source from a tannery outside Milan itself, my hope is that this collection can bring architectural character into modern homes.”
The Milan Collection will be available exclusively through House of Leon’s website and in its Los Angeles showroom.
