Jessica Simpson’s furniture line aims at mass appeal, with a personal touch
HIGH POINT— Jessica Simpson is expanding her lifestyle brand into home furnishings through a new partnership with Texas-based Steve Silver Company, marking her first entry into the furniture category.
The Jessica Simpson Home Collection, unveiled during this week’s October High Point Market, spans bedroom, dining, upholstery, case goods and accent categories.
Simpson appeared at the launch event Oct. 24, where she told Furniture Today that the line was created to bring approachable style to a broad audience, in keeping with the approach of her wider lifestyle brand.

“With our partnerships, everything kind of just evolves as I do,” Simpson said in an interview. “It wouldn’t be natural if our collection didn’t progress with my life and things that I’m passionate about or going through in the moment.”

Marketed under the tagline “Everyday Glamour for Real Homes,” the collection targets the U.S. middle market and features more than 70 SKUs, 35 fabrics and eight finishes. The mix includes plush textures, jewelry-inspired hardware and color tones ranging from airy blonde to spiced walnut.
Simpson said the line reflects her personal design journey over the past two years, which included reimagining her homes in both Nashville and Los Angeles. “Over the past two years, I’ve been living in Nashville, not just Los Angeles,” she said. “I’ve been redoing a house in Nashville, then wanted to redo my house in L.A., making Pinterest boards and digging deep into inspiration. It was really fun. It’s not work to me at all, it’s just a passion project.”
That hands-on approach helped shape a collection meant to feel lived-in and meaningful. “Furniture holds memories,” Simpson said. “It’s honestly like a gift you can offer to people you love and invite into your home.”
The collaboration with Steve Silver Furniture brought together Simpson’s design sensibility and the manufacturer’s four decades of merchandising experience. “Our team at Steve Silver has been amazing,” she said. “They really believed in the DNA of our brand and celebrated that I design for middle America; it’s not about famous people. It’s stuff I want my friends to have.”
Simpson, who grew up in Dallas, said working with a local partner adds personal significance. “Working with a company that’s in Dallas is actually honoring my home and my roots,” she said.
Drawing from her fashion background, Simpson said she wanted to infuse color and personality into furniture design. “In a home, you have to put your personality into it,” she said. “I wanted to bring fashion into the marketplace in a way that feels colorful and inspiring because I work from home, and I need things that trigger inspiration.”
One of her favorite pieces is the Jessica couch, a rust-colored sofa that blends vintage warmth with contemporary comfort. “I love the Jessica couch,” Simpson said. “The rust color is one of my favorites—it’s warm and romantic, and I don’t think people will know they like it until they see it. It mixes modern comfort with boho and vintage touches, which is how I design—no rules.”

Simpson also said the collection was designed with inclusivity in mind, appealing to both women and men shopping for the home. “When we were thinking about furniture, it’s not just the woman in the room; there’s also guys in the house,” she said. “We thought about colors men would like, too. It’s fun when a couple likes the same thing, but they don’t always; people can get in fights over that stuff.”
Luke Silver, president of Steve Silver, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s focus on stylish yet attainable home furnishings. “Her focus on bringing glamour to everyday living, combined with the Texas heritage we share, made this collaboration a perfect match,” he said in a statement.
The Jessica Simpson Home Collection is on display at Plaza Suites, space C-100, through the close of Market, with retail rollout expected later this year.
