Bedford Collections teams with artist Mary Lake-Thompson

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Bedford Collections will introduce a soft woven collection featuring the work of Mary Lake-Thompson, who is best known for her printed flower sacks and other giftware.
The new line, which will debut this month at the Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market, includes throws, scarves, and pillows made with transfer printing and embroidery.
Lake-Thompson began her career as a commercial artist, painting the wildlife and landscapes of rural California. She eventually moved into prints, then launched a greeting card company featuring her own artwork. After licensing deals for baby books, address books, diaries and paper napkins, Lake-Thompson landed an order from Eddie Bauer – which prompted her to begin designing her own line of products.
Today, Mary Lake-Thompson Ltd. produces aprons, sponge cloths, napkins, packaged teas and its signature flour sack towels.
“This collaboration allows us to showcase the best of both brands,” said Richard Sherman, owner of Bedford Collections. “By pairing our luxurious woven fabrics with Mary’s artwork, we’ve created a collection that feels special, giftable, and timeless.”
At Atlanta Market, Bedford Collections will be located in Building 1, 9th Floor Showroom D-8.
At Las Vegas Market, the company will be located at Showroom C-596B.
