Kalco Lighting enters new category

LAS VEGAS — Kalco Lighting has developed a collection of mirrors that will debut at High Point Market next month. It is a new product category for Kalco.

The collection is made from responsibly sourced materials such as Capiz shell, jute and coconut shells, reflecting Kalco’s popular nature-inspired pieces.

“Our new collection of mirrors are crafted to resonate with individual tastes, whether you favor coastal, rustic or vintage flair,” says Riki Lent, senior vice president of Kalco Lighting and Allegri Crystal by Kalco.

Highlights from the collection include Coco which is made from coconut shells and inspired by flower petals; Rose, which features overlapping petals in an abstract geometric shapewith natural Capiz shell insets, and Tart, which is made from mahogany and finished in a rich chocolate stain.

The series also features the Divisio collection, which is a modern sculptural representation of curling leaves finished in a warm Oxidized Gold Leaf finish, and the Foglie collection, which is made of fine jute rope to mimic the delicate veining found in leaves.

“The diverse designs are meant to feel like curated art to make every corner of the home uniquely yours,” said Takayukii Ishii, vice president of design and development for Kalco. “You can choose a mirror that feels playful for an uplifting atmosphere or one with a darker tone to add warmth and drama to the room.”
