With Monterey Car Week 2026 underway and designboom arriving on the peninsula, Lincoln has introduced the 2027 Nautilus with a redesigned exterior and two new Black Label interiors. There is a wider grille and a newly shaped hood, though the more interesting changes happen once you look inside. Lincoln has worked subtle patterning into the vehicle‘s cabin that become more apparent as the lighting comes on, pairing them with new woods and color combinations that give the interior another layer to discover.
The two new Black Label themes take landscape as their starting point. Eminent Hour draws from a desert sunset, surrounding Tranquil Dusk Menorca seats with warm stitching, copper-toned open-pore ash wood and an ebony headliner. Elysian Light looks toward sunrise over water, bringing Soft Cloud leather together with Still Water Blue accents and pearlescent ash.
Though these references could easily become decorative storytelling, the most convincing part is physical: color shifts between surfaces, perforations emerge across the seats, and illumination changes how those details are perceived in shifting conditions.

a more atmospheric cabin
Across the dashboard, Lincoln keeps the 48-inch panoramic display that has become one of the Nautilus’ defining features. It stretches almost the full width of the cabin, placing navigation and vehicle information high in the driver’s field of view while a separate center screen handles interaction closer at hand.
For 2027, connectivity features including embedded Google Maps and Google apps come standard, alongside four years of activated connectivity. The technology is substantial, though visually the appeal comes from how the screen sits within the broader interior composition instead of reading as a tablet placed on top of the dashboard.
Lincoln is also expanding its Rejuvenate system through a new Renew Package on the Reserve trim. Used while parked, the feature coordinates imagery and sound with seat positioning and climate control, while 24-way front seats add massage. Digital Scent introduces fragrances into the same setup. It makes the Nautilus cabin feel increasingly choreographed, with lighting and physical comfort working alongside the screens instead of technology dominating the experience.

Outside, the 2027 Nautilus gets a broader grille surrounded by redesigned bodywork, with a reshaped hood and more sculpted front fenders. The lighting graphics have also been revised, while slimmer rear lamps give the Lincoln lettering more space across the back. Five wheel designs range from 19 to 22 inches, and the Jet Appearance Package brings gloss-black detailing to several trims. The overall move is evolutionary, sharpening a silhouette that already leaned heavily on long horizontal lines.
Two new paint colors give designboom something else to inspect once we reach Monterey. Nocturnal Blue joins the wider range with a frosted blue finish, while Black Label models gain Frosted Fig, a plum-purple developed to sit alongside the warmer Eminent Hour interior. Lincoln will continue offering both gasoline and hybrid versions of the Nautilus, with the hybrid producing 285 combined horsepower.
Orders for the 2027 model are open now, with showroom arrivals expected in early 2027. For Car Week, though, the numbers feel secondary. We are more curious to see what these interiors actually do under changing light, and whether the small details Lincoln is asking drivers to notice hold up when the doors open in Monterey.
