Retailer Cheryl Clendenon scouted High Point Market for the perfect accents. Here’s what she found
Her goal was to find a few statement pieces, small accents and other unique finnds.
Cheryl Clendenon, Home Accents Today’s Retailer to Retailer columnist and owner of InDetail Interiors in Pensacola, Fla., went to market with the goal to find a few statement pieces, small accents and other unique finds for her retail customers and design clients (Shoppe Object is “perfect” for this, according to Clendenon.)
“All and all we purchased almost $10,000 of accessories for the shop during this trip and opened two new accounts,” she said. “Success!”
Here’s what caught her eye:
“From the cool Shoppe Object at Market Square, this 3-D printed vase from Cyrc uses recycled materials to create gorgeous modern designs for interior spaces.”
“We fell in love with this solid marble sculpture from Kavana. It can be used in a tablescape for serving or with greenery. A large statement piece is worth the investment!”
“Another ‘accessory’ we always put in every project is the ottoman. These small but functional pieces of furniture are so versatile. Whether used as a portable table with a tray on top, or a place to perch your feet, they make a statement when dressed in a fun fabric like this butterfly pattern. Fabric and ottoman from Hooker Furnishings.”
“Balancing high and low is important in all our projects, and mirrors are one way to add a lot of pizazz in any room. You can typically find gorgeous mirrors that give you a lot of bang for your buck. This one was one of many we found at Cooper Classics. A great mirror for a kid’s bedroom or a coastal retreat!”
“Bookends are so hard to find. We loved these fun hands from Sagebrook Home. They work in any room. Composed of marble and metal, they are sturdy enough to hold any size books!”
