Jaipur Living has unveiled its latest designer collaboration with celebrated interior designer Bradley Odom, founder of Atlanta-based Dixon Rye. The new collection introduces six handmade rugs across two designs, Avis and Solum.
The collaboration reflects Odom’s design philosophy of finding beauty in contrast: raw and refined, humble and luxurious, reverent and forward-thinking. Grounded in nature and Southern heritage, each rug embodies his approach to conceptual livability — design that tells a story through craftsmanship.
Crafted entirely from wool and made by hand, every piece aligns with Jaipur Living’s commitment to quality, timeless design, and artisanry. This collection represents a shared vision—to create meaningful, lasting pieces that feel both soulful and effortlessly modern, Jaipur said.
“Bradley is not only a friend, but someone I deeply admire for his impeccable eye and distinctive point of view,” said CEO Asha Chaudhary. “His work at Dixon Rye strikes a beautiful balance between refined design and approachable warmth—values we share at Jaipur Living. Partnering with him felt completely natural and effortless.”
The collection features two distinct designs: Avis, with its delicate, abstracted avian motif in nature-inspired tones, and Solum, exploring grounding geometry and earthy palettes.
Both showcase thoughtful textural contrasts, designed to patina beautifully with time.
“From the beginning, this collaboration with Jaipur Living felt like a conversation between kindred spirits. We both believe in the power of craftsmanship to tell stories—stories that are felt, not just seen,” Odom said. “These rugs are more than just design elements; they’re soulful foundations for how we live. With Avis and Solum, we’ve created pieces that hold emotion, texture, and time — quietly anchoring a space while inviting it to evolve.”

Kalaty rugs will showcase its latest high-end hand-knotted collections plus additions to best-selling collections at the High Point Market later this month. The company will also promote its expanded upper-tier proprietary Luxe-Weave hand-finished power-loomed collections.
“We are excited to show off the depth and breadth of our High Point new-product presentation,” said Ariel Kalaty, a company spokesman. “In addition to our new Luxe-Weave collections, we have a number of luxurious new high-end hand-knotted rugs in a range of fashion colors and style genres from updated-traditional to transitional to modern. We also have new additions to our popular Lori-Loom handcrafted collections plus exciting additions in our more affordably priced power-loomed styles.”
Each of the company’s Luxe-Weave rug collections – Zara, Blooma, Ventura and Paintwrks – is made with premium wool yarns. However, what sets these rugs apart from standard power-loomed rugs, according to Kalaty, is the unique Luxe-Weave power-loomed process where each rug receives a number of meticulous hand-finishing steps – hand-binding, hand-carving and the same special finishing wash given to high-end rugs.
Among the highlights: the 100% wool sophisticated contemporary hand-knotted designs of the Nexus Collection; the updated-classic Oushak inspirations of the hand-knotted 100% wool Caldera Collection; the simple transitional elegance of the hand-knotted 100% premium wool Genesis Collection; the especially luxurious hand-knotted 100% natural silk updated-traditional Piazza Collection; the refined modern abstract designs of the hand-knotted Prato Collection made from 100% silk yarns, and the timeless Lima Collection of hand-knotted 100% wool, borderless floral patterns in an array of colorways.
Also making its High Point debut: Wash-Ables by Kalaty. The Merzglyphs and Sportsglyphs II are licensed glyph-art designs from Brooklyn urban artist Katie Merz. The third Wash-Ables collection, Cascade, is an eclectic group of designs ranging from updated Oushaks to modern abstract influences. All Wash-Ables by Kalaty are power-loomed using 100% polyester yarns.
The company’s High Point showroom is located in the IHFC, G369.

Capel Rugs will be unveiling a special giveaway with each purchase at the upcoming High Point Market.
“We’re starting a new tradition this market by offering a gift with each purchase,” said Cameron Capel, president of sales and marketing. “This market’s gift celebrates the reintroduction of our Serengeti line with an exciting new colorway in two patterns – Antelope and Leopard in sky. The gift is a surprise of the ‘four-legged variety’ that we think will add a touch of delight to our customers’ showroom visits.”
The front room of Capel Rugs’ Design District showroom is being redesigned to spotlight the unique looks of Serengeti, a hand tufted, 100% wool collection made in India. Serengeti’s designs combine the beauty of nature-inspired patterns with neutral and tone-on-tone colorways and lovely textures. Fine pile yarns looped for strong resilience enhance the pattern detail.
With the latest additions, Serengeti now features four patterns and nine colorways which include Antelope in beige and sky; Cheetah in river, ash and plains; Leopard in natural, taupe and sky; and Zebra in ash and beige.
Another new nature-inspired collection debuting in the Capel showroom this market is Abacos. Hand tufted in India of 100% wool, Abacos features free-form, high-low, irregular geometric shapes that resemble natural elements. Three nature-themed colorways are offered –
lagoon, mangrove and coconut husk.
“Abacos is modern yet casual,” Capel said. “The patterns’ shapes are non-representational and asymmetrical, which aligns with modern organic or biomorphic design styles. The collection’s distinct patterns and fresh colorways also make these rugs versatile enough for any room in the home.”
In the hand-loomed rug category, Capel’s introductions include Antissa, a new jacquard design inspired by the serene landscapes and ancient ruins of Aegean towns. Crafted in India with a wool and viscose blend, Antissa is available in five colorways – moss, coal, tide, shell and dune – and three sizes.
“This jacquard loomed collection weaves timeless texture with subtle depth,” Capel said. “The collection’s undefined patterns echo ancient themes of layered stone and flowing water, grounding today’s living spaces in quiet elegance and natural beauty. They’re expressive yet understated and complement both minimalist and richly layered spaces.”
Three new machine-made collections include Galata, a new traditional collection with an abstract appeal. Galata is machine-woven in Turkey of 100% polyester. Each rug carries the soul of classical themes from the past, such as faded medallions, while fresh, asymmetrical strokes bring a vibrant new rhythm to each design.
“Galata was inspired by our travels through the winding streets of Istanbul,” Capel said. “It’s a timeless place where the old city’s whispers meet the hum of modern life.”
Sleek yet expressive, Ives brings an elevated, contemporary tone to modern interiors. Machine-woven in India with precision and care, each rug features a fluid interplay of cool silver and warm gold hues, capturing the quiet drama of metallics in motion.
“Abstract in design and refined in palette, these pieces evoke the shimmer of light on brushed surfaces, the softness of patinaed metals and the quiet luxury of an erased traditional design,” Capel said. “The subtle sheen and textural pile height variation add depth and dimension, making Ives an ideal foundation for interiors that value modern sophistication with a hint of glamour.”
And finally, the Manor Collection offers a selection of machine-made wool area rugs that honor classic design with enduring sophistication. Crafted in India from 80% wool and 20% nylon, each piece blends Old World charm with modern durability.
“Inspired by heritage motifs – Persian florals, architectural borders and faded medallions – the Manor collection brings the warmth and poise of a stately estate into contemporary homes,” Capel said. “The wool pile offers a rich texture underfoot, while subtle variations in tone and detail lend each rug a gently lived-in character.”
With tariff structures still a moving target, Capel said the company is a bit wary about the outlook for business this market. “But we have strong introductions that we are excited about, and we know they will hold their own with those retailers and customers who visit us in High Point.”
Capel Rugs’ High Point showroom is located at 200 N. Hamilton St., South Court.
