Top designers to discuss redefining success at High Point keynote series

HIGH POINT — As part of the High Point Market Authority  lineup for the spring market keynote series, it will feature a panel discussion with five prominent designers.

The event, titled “Redefining Design Success: Breaking Creative Boundaries and Building Momentum,” will take place at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 26, in the High Point Theatre.

Sponsored by Loloi, the panel will include designers Jeremiah Brent, Noz Nozawa, Mikel Welch, Brian Paquette and Ashley Montgomery. The discussion will focus on alternative paths to success in the design industry, emphasizing innovation and business growth beyond traditional methods.

  • Brent, a television personality and founder of Jeremiah Brent Design, has been recognized by Architectural Digest and Elle Décor for his work. He has also reached a broad audience through multiple brand partnerships and as a host of Netflix’s Emmy-winning series “Queer Eye.”
  • Nozawa, principal designer of Noz Design in San Francisco, is known for her eclectic approach to residential, hospitality and retail interiors. Her work has been published, including features in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Vogue.
  • Welch, an Emmy-winning designer based in New York, has become a familiar face on television, serving as a design consultant on The Drew Barrymore Show and appearing on The Today Show. His work has also been featured on HGTV, TLC’s Trading Spaces and in spaces designed for high-profile figures such as Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
  • Paquette, founder of Seattle-based Brian Paquette Interiors, brings an artistic perspective to contemporary design. His firm, known for its emphasis on natural elements and architectural influences, has been featured in publications such as Dwell and Architectural Digest.
  • Montgomery, a Toronto-based designer, specializes in blending traditional and modern aesthetics in high-end residential and boutique commercial spaces. With a background in both interior design and hospitality, her work has been featured in Domino, House Beautiful, and Dwell.

The event is open to all registered High Point Market attendees. The High Point Theatre will open at 2:30 p.m., with the discussion concluding at 4 p.m.
