Atlanta Decorative Arts Center appoints new marketing exec
Michelle Westcott-Richards will oversee marketing and events for the design center in Atlanta.
ATLANTA – Former Waterford executive Michelle Westcott-Richards has been named senior marketing events manager for the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center.
“As I step into the role of senior marketing events manager at ADAC, I look forward to leveraging my experience in strategic event management and marketing to drive impactful and innovative initiatives,” said Richards. “I am excited to collaborate with the talented team at ADAC to enhance its presence within the design community and create exceptional experiences that reflect the center’s leadership in the industry.”
Richards’ career began at AmericasMart in Atlanta, where she worked in public relations and special events. She later served as head of public relations and special events for Fiskars Group, whose brands include Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Copenhagen, Iittala, and Royal Doulton. ADAC, like AmericasMart, is owned by Andmore.
One of her standout accomplishments at Waterford was overseeing the Waterford Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball partnership for over 10 years. She also collaborated with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to design a Waterford triangle for the Times Square Ball – a symbol of hope created by a young patient.
“Michelle’s extensive background in public relations and event management, combined with her passion for luxury home design, makes her a great addition,” said Katie Miner, General Manager of ADAC. “We are confident that her leadership and creativity will bring a fresh perspective to ADAC’s events and community engagement, further strengthening our position as a leader in the design industry.”
