Barclay Butera finds partner for luxury lighting line
Fine Art Lighting has transformed the interior designer’s concepts into “stunning works of art.”
HIALEAH, Fla. – Fine Art Lighting is partnering with interior designer Barclay Butera on a new luxury lighting line that will debut at High Point Market.
Embark by Barclay Butera will be the first line in the collaboration. It ranges from chandeliers and sconces to table lamps for both interiors and exteriors.
“We’ve known Barclay and his team for many years and have often discussed a potential collaboration,” said Fine Art’s co-owner René Quintana. “When the time came for Barclay to launch his Barclay Butera Couture brand, he approached us as his partner for luxury lighting.”
“What truly sealed the deal were his unique and inspiring product concepts, which our design team and artisans have turned into stunning works of art.” In an Instagram post, Butera interacts with glassblowers and others creating the lighting pieces.
The pieces are distinguished by marine-inspired hues, moody amber glass and contemporary white-chic tones, Fine Art Lighting said, alongside naturally inspired shapes like waves and sails.
“There is a very upscale and bespoke element to Embark,” said Butera. “The handcrafted designs will feature exquisite wavy glass with three distinct moods: the white has a contemporary feel, the amber evokes a moody vibe, and the blue offers a subtle nod to maritime style.
