The International Textile Alliance added two to its board of directors: Tammy Covington Nagem, president and CEO of High Point Market Authority, and Tom Notaro, senior sales director, furnishings at Glen Raven/ Material Solutions Group. Nagem and Notaro succeed Patrick Shelton, senior vice president of sales & marketing at Valdese Weavers, and Kathryn Richardson, vice president of sales & strategic engagement at Verellen.

La-Z-Boy appointed Matt Baer to its board of directors. Baer currently serves as the CEO of Stitch Fix, where he leads a transformation effort for the online personal styling service. Prior to Stitch Fix, he held roles at Macy’s as chief customers and digital offer and at Walmart.com as vice president of e-commerce.

Qurate Retail Group appointed Rosalia Bucaro, a retail exec with more than 20 years of experience, as HSN‘s new chief marketing officer. Bucaro will oversee the strategic direction of merchandising, planning, programming and business development across all product categories. Bucaro recently served as EVP of Rue Gilt Groupe where she oversaw all aspects of fashion.

Eighty-seven designs have been named finalists in 21 categories for the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) 2024 Pinnacle Awards. The designs of these finalists are produced and marketed by companies large and small, all celebrating artistry, craft and innovation.
