High Point hits a high note with Coral Reefer Band and The Fray
The eight-member group, led by 10-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally, has toured globally and performed at renowned venues including Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl.
“With support from Hooker Furnishings, Margaritaville and Chalk Hill Wines, we’re thrilled to bring this iconic band to Center Stage,” said Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO. “After registering for fall market, be sure to mark your calendar for what is certain to be an incredible night of entertainment, hospitality and community.”
Then on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m., four-time Grammy nominated Colorado rock band The Fray will perform at the Center Stage venue during the market.
“We’re so pleased to feature The Fray on the main stage for performance at Fall Market, and to be a special stop on this year’s world tour,” said Tammy Covington, High Point Market Authority president and CEO. “Our guests have access to an incredible entertainment line-up this season, and I’d like to encourage everyone to enjoy the live music, and to relax among colleagues and industry friends just as the weekend’s business activities wind down each day.”
Rising to prominence in the early 2000s, The Fray introduced a uniquely soul-searching alt-rock sound. Over the years, The Fray has earned four Grammy Award nominations, three Billboard Music Awards and multiple Billboard Top 10 hits. The group’s breakout single, “How To Save A Life,” is 11x Platinum, spent 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a defining anthem of ABC’s Emmy-winning series “Grey’s Anatomy.”
In partnership with HPMA, the Sunday concert is sponsored by High Point Market exhibitor Schonbek, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the City of Hope. Chalk Hill Wines is the official wine sponsor for fall Market’s Center Stage weekend concerts; serving a selection of its California varietals throughout market in this location.
A valid Fall 2025 Market pass is required for admission to the Center Stage area located between the Showplace building and the Transportation Terminal. Entry will be permitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early entry for buyers begins at 6:15 p.m. For all other passholders, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. concert. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided. Guests under the age of 15 will not be admitted.
