Lusso trademarks composite stone Cortese
The company highlights several durability features that give the material a variety of home accent applications.
HIGH POINT — Luxury lifestyle brand Lusso has registered the trademark for its signature composite stone Cortese.
The company highlights the durability of a stone that resulted from 10 years of research, collaboration and refinement. Cortese is available in five shades (white, clay, earth, charcoal and black) and three finishes (matte, polished and duo).
Cortese features high scratch-resistance and anti-yellowing pigments that allow for near-invisible restoration. Its material makeup and production methods also make it 100% recyclable.
Lusso says that Cortese boasts thermal efficiency and quiet acoustic properties, making it ideal for bathtubs, sinks and a variety of home accent applications.
“Since 2014, ingenuity has been paramount to our design approach; the perfect example is the development of Cortese. Lusso’s stone products have adorned some of the world’s most celebrated interiors, from Claridges in London to The Equinox Hotel in New York,” said Lusso founder and CEO Wayne Spriggs. “Ten years on, it’s time that we gave this unique material the name and platform it deserves.”
